Davide Giusti - Tebaldo
Young and promising tenor Davide Giusti attended the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. He is a recipient of important awards, including A. Belli in Spoleto, R. Tebaldi in San Marino, M. Caniglia in Sulmona and the Santa Chiara in Naples. He made his debut as Ferrando in Così fan tutte at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome; Kent Nagano conducted him in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Reate Festival, then he obtained a great success performing Rossini’s Stabat Mater under Gianluigi Gelmetti. Mr. Giusti sang La Traviata (Alfredo) for the AsLiCo circuit in Italy, Mozart’s C minor Mass in Palermo and Genoa, Gianni Schicchi (Rinuccio) in Cagliari and at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Il Viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival, L’Elisir d'Amore in Chieti and Osnabruck. Davide Giusti recently starred in Debussy’s L’enfant prodigue in Ancona and Cagliari. He then sang La Traviata in Lecce, Brindisi and in Piacenza, Cristina Mazzavillani Muti directing, I Pagliacci and Gianni Schicchi at the Teatro Regio in Parma and in L’Elisir d’Amore in Ancona. On the concert side, he was engaged in a recital in Monte Carlo.
Future plans include: La Traviata in Darmstadt; Nicolai’s Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège; La Bohème in Reims; Tutino’s Le Braci at the Martina Franca Festival and at the Teatro alla Pergola in Florence.
Fabrizio Beggi - Lorenzo
Mr. Beggi started his career in 2011 attending the Ensemble Opera Studio at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, where he made his debut in Donizetti’s Il Campanello (Don Annibale Pistacchio), then he performed in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi (Marco e Maestro Spinelloccio) and in the world premiere of Oz on the road (Zio Henry) and in Roméo et Juliette (Le Duc) under Fabio Luisi. Fabrizio Beggi won the Toti Dal Monte prize in 2012, which led him to make his debut in Cimarosa’s Matrimonio Segreto in Treviso, Ferrara and Rovigo. Mr. Beggi recently sang Rigoletto in Savona, Battistelli’s Matrimonio all’Italiana at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, La Cenerentola (Alidoro) in Ferrara and Treviso. Mr. Beggi regularly collaborates with the Teatro Regio in Turin, where in the past season he starred in Andrea Chénier, Don Carlo and more recently in Simon Boccanegra, Rigoletto, Gianni Schicchi, Un Ballo in Maschera on tour in Japan and Guillaume Tell (Melchtal), then on tour at the Edinburgh Festival.
Future plans include: Un Ballo in Maschera at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna; Tosca in Jesi and Fermo; Le Nozze di Figaro and I Puritani at the Teatro Regio in Turin and a revival of Guglielmo Tell on tour in Canada; Handel’s Imeneo at the Handel Festival in Halle with Fabio Biondi and Europa Galante.
